2. Bullhead City: no 1 Wuche / one more week to go

Unglaublich wie schnell die Zeit vergeht. Erst noch kam ich hier an und bald schon fliege ich wieder weiter. Ich merke, wie ich es schaetze die Moeglichkeit zu haben, so lange an einem Ort zu sein. Erstens lohnt sich das Auspacken des Koffers, zudem kenn ich mich schon sehr gut aus in BHC und weiss wo was zu finden ist. In den Supermaerkten werde ich angesprochen, weil Personen mich aus dem Bistro, vom Joggen oder der Kirche kennen. Ich bin keine Fremde mehr :-). Doch schon bald heisst es "tschuess" sagen.

Gestern Abend hatte ich die Moeglichkeit im Restaurant zu musizieren. Mein erstes Solo-Konzert :-). Ich spielte insgesamt etwa 90 Min. Alle Musiker die im Bistro performan, erhalten dafuer jeweils ein Nachtessen, gratis Getraenke und natuerlich alles Trinkgeld, was die Gaeste ihnen in den Topf schmeissen. Ich sammelte fuer das "Father's House" auf den Philippinen und dies war sicher der Hauptgrund, weshalb viel Geld zusammen kam :-).

Nun freue ich mich auf die letzte Woche hier. Ich hoffe noch einen ordentlichen Munsunregen zu erleben, im Basketball zehn von zehn Koerbe hintereinander zu treffen, die restlichen Gerichte der Menukarte zu kosten, all die Stammkunden noch mindestens einmal zu sehen und viele hektische Stunden in der Kueche zu erleben :-).

Unbelievable how fast time flies. It feels like I've just arrived and soon my trip will continue. I realize how much I like to stay such a long time at one and the same place. Firstly it's worth it to unpack my luggage, secondly I know my way around in Bullhead City. In the stores people recognize me because they know me from the restaurant, the jogging or from church. I'm not a stranger anymore. But soon I've to say goodbye.

Saturday evening I had the chance to sing in the restaurant. My first solo concert :-). I played more than 90 minutes. All the musicians who perform there normally get a meal, free drinks and a tip from the owners. They also get tips from the customers. I've played at the Bistro so I could raise money for an orphanage in the Philippines (the Father's House) and I know this was the main reason, why I got a lot of money :-).

Now I'm looking forward to the last week here. I hope that I'll experience heavy rain, make ten out of ten three throwers in a row (in basketball), have the chance to eat the meals I've didn't try in the restaurant so far, see most of the customers again and have a lot of busy days in the kitchen.
